Anastasia Self-Made Palette
I'm so happy to have gotten my hands on this beautiful limited edition palette. The one thing that attracted me to this palette is the vibrant colors! The "Deep Purple" and "Pink Champagne" are my two favorite colors. I saw this palette on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website and knew I had to have it. As with most other palettes I have, it is cruelty free and hypoallergenic. The texture of the shadows are very silky and velvety. The packaging is sturdy and lightweight. I was able to put it in my suitcase on a flight to Vegas and it survived. I'm not a huge fan of the brush, but that's just me. Below I swatched it on my arm in natural light.
Here is a look I created using my Shany Cosmetics Pro Brush Set. Details are below!
Lid- Pink Champagne
Crease- Metallic Plum
Outer Corner- Hot Chocolate
Browbone (optional)- Sherbert
Lips: ABH Liquid Lipstick in Dusty Rose
Lipliner: Nyx Lip Liner Crayon in "Brown"
Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade in "Ebony"
Contour & Highlight: LA Girl Cosmetics HD Pro Concealer in "Fawn" and "Dark Cocoa"
Foundation: Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage Creme' in"Tobacco"
Mascara: Urban Decay Perversion
Pros:
- Variety of colors from shimmer to mattes.
- They blend very well and, are very pigmented. There is not too much fallout unless you're using "Pink Champagne".
- Great for all skin tones.
Cons:
- Not a fan of the brush included.
This item is available now at Ulta and Sephora website for $35.
Stay tuned next week for swatches I want to share with ya'll on some new NYX products I acquired from my recent Ulta haul. I won't say which product, it's a surprise :). Don't forget to subscribe to my blog on the right and follow me on Google + for updates, news etc.
Update: 1/4/16 This palette is no longer available at ABH, Ulta, and Sephora. It is still available at Macy's
Until next time.. Be fit. Be Healthy. & Be Beautiful
